WHY I LOST YOU SO SOON?

When the world sleeps in the dark hours

I sit by the window looking at the moon

It mocks at me and makes me wonder

Why I lost you so soon??

 

You were my dreams in the sleepless nights

My only shelter in a typhoon

Now this loneliness brings tears to my eyes

And I still can’t believe

That I lost you so soon.

 

It’s like walking in a lonely desert

Sweating and shaking in the scorching noon

It pains a lot, I can manage it though

But unbearable is the pain after finding that

I’ve lost you so soon.

 

Now only memories of sweet times we had

Will fill this emptiness around

Life of mine has always been a mess

And this time too it’s nothing sound

Hope I’ll be able to come out of this

And the tears in eyes will dry too

But how to stop the cries of my heart

Without knowing the reason
